Real money skills.
Pretend money.
Jonesy is a family ledger where kids earn for chores, then save, invest, borrow and spend — and learn how money really works while the stakes are pretend.
Takes about two minutes: family name, kid username, six-digit PIN.

How it works
Three moves, over and over, for as long as it's fun.
A parent sets the rules
Make a family, add each kid with a username and a 6-digit PIN, then write the chores and what they pay. You decide the rates, the loan interest, and whether taxes are on.
The kid earns it
Sam does the dishes, taps "I did it!", and asks for approval. You approve from your phone and the wallet goes up — with the tax taken out, just like a real payslip.
The kid decides what's next
Spend it, put it towards a goal, leave it in savings to earn interest, or buy a slice of the pretend S&P 500. Jonesy shows what each choice does over the weeks ahead.
What they pick up
Every part of Jonesy is a real financial idea, made small enough to hold in your head.
Earn
Parents set chores and rewards, on a schedule or standing anytime offers. Kids claim them and a parent approves.
Save
Goals with a target date and budgets by category, plus a plan that says how much to earn each week to get there.
Invest
A high-yield savings account and the S&P 500, compounded weekly, with a "future me" chart that shows where money is heading.
Borrow
Ask parents for a loan and see the interest, the amortization schedule, and what paying early saves.
Learn
Bite-size lessons on interest, debt, taxes and investing, each with a quiz that pays a reward the parent sets.
Level up
XP, levels, badges and streaks turn good habits into something worth coming back to.
You stay the bank
Nothing pays out without you. Every chore claim and every loan lands in your approvals inbox, and you can top a wallet up or take money back at any moment.

Questions parents ask
Does real money move anywhere?
No. Jonesy is a ledger — every balance is pretend. It's the same practice as a chore chart with a jar on the counter, except the interest, taxes and loan schedules are calculated properly so kids can see them.
How old does my kid need to be?
Jonesy is written for ages 10 to 13, with a parent in charge of every account. A parent creates each kid account and gives permission for it.
What does the app actually cost?
Nothing. There is no paid plan, no in-app purchase and no ad revenue. The only thing a family brings is the chores and rewards they invent.
Can both parents see the same thing?
Yes. One parent makes the family and shares the invite code; the other joins with it. Both can approve chores, approve loans and adjust a wallet.
What happens if a kid mis-spends?
That's the point. Money moved into a goal or an investment comes back out of the spendable balance, and a loan adds a weekly payment they have to cover. Nothing breaks — the lesson is the product.
Why is tax taken out of my kid's chores?
Because it is the honest version of a payslip. Income tax comes off earnings and capital gains tax comes off investment earnings, using brackets you can edit or switch off in Family settings.
